Job Title: Warehouse Specialist
Job Description

The Warehouse Specialist will work in the production department, responsible for handling order sheets, retrieving product types and quantities, and processing packages on a conveyor belt. The role involves loading and unloading packages, primarily medical products and devices, into totes for sterilization.

ResponsibilitiesRetrieve product types and quantities listed on work order sheets.Load packages onto the conveyor belt for sterilization.Unwrap pallets of products and place them onto the conveyor belt.Input order details into a computer system to display product placement in totes.Unload sterilized products, palatalize them, and wrap them with yellow shrink wrap.Operate a forklift up to 5% of the day, as needed.Essential SkillsExperience in loading and unloading packages.Proficiency in production and material handling.Ability to operate a machine and handle general labor tasks.Experience in warehouse distribution, inventory management, and using a pallet jack.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.Previous experience in a physical job.Basic math skills (addition and subtraction).Good attendance record.Team player with a willingness to learn.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The role operates on a 12-hour rotating schedule, with shifts from 9pm to 9am or 9am to 9pm. The warehouse is clean and organized but may get hot during summer months. Radiation is safely administered to containers within the warehouse.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Gurnee, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
