**Warehouse Receiving Associate - DAY SHIFT** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate with experience in a temperature-controlled environment, specifically in food and beverage distribution. The ideal candidate will have a solid tenure and be adept at operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment. **Responsibilities** + Operate forklifts, both sit and stand, and electronic pallet jacks, including single and double pallet. + Pick orders using onboard POS computers and paper pick sheets. + Utilize RF scan guns and barcode sticker printers. + Receive and unload inbound freight, verify and inspect products, and forward information to the receiving clerk. + Perform pallet breakdowns, restacking, restocking, palletizing, staging, and loading outbound trailers. + Assist in inventory management, including cycle counts and date coding. **Essential Skills** + Experience with forklift operation. + Experience in food distribution, particularly cold storage, with 3-4+ years of tenure. + Proficiency in using RF scanners, order picking, and electric pallet jacks. + Ability to read, write, communicate, and comprehend English sufficiently for job tasks. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to operate various configurations of equipment, including forklifts and handheld scanners with training. + Possess good judgment for safe and efficient handling of products. + Ability to work in and withstand cold temperatures. + Physical ability to stand, sit, and walk throughout the day, with repeated twisting and lifting of up to 20 to 100 pounds. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a $90+ weekly bonus based on productivity, along with comprehensive medical, dental, and vision programs starting at affordable rates for employees and their families.
