Job Description

We are seeking motivated individuals to join our warehouse team, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient warehouse operations through material handling, packaging, and shipping processes.

Responsibilities

Pull and stage material for production.Perform final packaging of materials.Operate forklifts or side loaders to move materials.Utilize overhead cranes for material handling.Stage materials for outbound shipping.Ensure daily deadlines are met before leaving.

Essential Skills

Experience with forklifts and cranes.General production knowledge.Material handling, shipping, and receiving skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Regular attendance and punctuality.Basic math and reading skills.Basic computer skills.Physical ability to lift and flexibility to complete warehouse tasks.

Work Environment

Work in a heavy industrial environment that can be dirty, with open doors that make it cold in the winter and hot in the summer. The 2nd shift operates from 1PM to 9PM. The training schedule spans five weeks, rotating through different shifts to ensure comprehensive understanding. A mandatory dress code requires steel-toed boots, work pants, and a shirt that can get dirty. All other PPE, including hard hats, safety glasses, and ear and eye protection, will be provided. The role requires meeting daily deadlines before leaving.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newark, Delaware.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.64 - $21.64/hr.
