📦 Warehouse Manager – Job Description🎯 Position Summary

The Warehouse Manager oversees all warehouse operations, ensuring materials, equipment, and inventory are received, stored, organized, and distributed efficiently. This role supports field crews, installers, and office staff by maintaining accurate inventory levels, coordinating deliveries, and keeping the warehouse safe, clean, and productive.

🔧 Key ResponsibilitiesManage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, staging, and shipping materialsMaintain accurate inventory counts through regular cycle counts and auditsOversee loading and unloading of trucks, ensuring materials are prepared for jobsite deliveryCoordinate with installation crews to ensure timely and accurate material distributionTrack and order materials, tools, and supplies as neededMaintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and safety standardsOperate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipmentImplement and enforce company policies, safety procedures, and OSHA guidelinesTrain and supervise warehouse staff (if applicable)Monitor equipment maintenance and schedule repairs when neededWork with vendors and suppliers to resolve delivery or quality issues💪 Skills & QualificationsStrong organizational and time‑management skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environmentExperience with inventory management systems or basic computer skillsKnowledge of construction materials (insulation, building supplies) is a plusStrong communication skills for coordinating with crews and office staffForklift certification or willingness to obtain oneLeadership experience preferred🏋️ Physical RequirementsLift and move materials up to 50–75 poundsStand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workdayWork in warehouse environments with varying temperaturesOperate warehouse equipment safely🏭 Work EnvironmentWarehouse setting with regular interaction with installers, drivers, and office staffOccasional outdoor work when loading/unloading trucksFast‑paced, hands‑on, team‑oriented environment

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Olathe, KS.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $24.00/hr.
