**Job Title: Warehouse Manager** Job Description The Warehouse Manager will lead and optimize warehouse operations in Jacksonville, FL, ensuring seamless execution of freight forwarding activities such as container consolidations (LCL), Full Container Loads (FCL), cross-docking, and long-term storage. This role requires a proactive leader with experience managing a team of 20-30 employees in a fast-paced warehouse environment, focusing on operational efficiency, KPI performance, safety compliance, and risk mitigation. Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per interview and experience. Shift: 1st Shift, Monday - Friday, starting at 7:00am. Responsibilities + Oversee daily inbound and outbound operations, ensuring accurate, timely, and efficient cargo handling. + Lead and supervise a team of 20-30 warehouse employees, managing shift schedules, workload distribution, and staffing needs. + Maintain strict inventory control and space utilization to optimize handling of consolidations, cross-docking, and long-term storage. + Ensure Warehouse Management System (WMS) accuracy and real-time data updates. + Organize pallet racks and floor space layouts to maximize efficiency and throughput. + Implement and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to minimize errors and enhance productivity. + Develop, implement, and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for operational efficiency and turnaround times. + Analyze performance data and develop action plans for continuous improvement. + Ensure compliance with GDP (Good Distribution Practices) and other regulatory standards. + Lead warehouse safety programs, including near-miss reporting, hazard identification, and corrective actions. + Maintain compliance with OSHA, TSA, and other safety regulations. + Oversee warehouse security measures, including access control, perimeter safety, and cargo protection. + Develop and execute a Business Continuity Plan for hurricane season to ensure warehouse preparedness. + Conduct incident investigations and enforce preventive maintenance on warehouse equipment. + Hire, train, and develop warehouse staff, ensuring alignment with company goals and operational needs. + Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. + Conduct regular performance evaluations and coaching sessions.
