**Job Title: Warehouse Lead/ Manager | $20-35hr | Benefits included** **Job Description** Looking to work for a leading supplier in the steel industry, committed to delivering high-quality products and exceptional service. We are seeking a motivated and experienced Lead Warehouse Associate to join our team and help oversee daily operations in our steel warehouse. **Responsibilities** + Manage incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and condition. + Coordinate receiving, staging, and loading of materials. + Oversee transfers between facilities. + Work with Purchasing and Sales to manage inventory and cycle counts. + Review shipping documents and prioritize work accordingly. + Handle will-call orders and assist with production tasks when needed. + Train warehouse staff on equipment, packaging, and safety procedures. + Lead safety initiatives and coordinate with HR on staffing and discipline. + Maintain facility cleanliness and equipment upkeep. **Essential Skills** + Warehouse Management: 3+ Years + Shipping and Receiving: 2+ Years + Inventory Management + Logistics + Supervision + Reporting **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Strong attention to detail and data accuracy. + Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. + Effective communication skills with team members and customers. + Comfortable reading and interpreting documents and instructions. + Education: Associate’s degree or equivalent experience. + Experience with tape measures, micrometers, and overhead cranes (preferred) + DOT knowledge and maintenance experience (preferred) **Why Work Here?** Opportunity to lead a key operational team in a respected company.
