Job Title: Warehouse Lead

Job Description

Join our team as a Warehouse Lead, where you will assist in the efficient operation of the warehouse. Your role will involve unloading trucks, organizing received products, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring accurate inventory management with at least 95% accuracy. You'll also be responsible for securing products on pallets and ensuring safety protocols are followed. This position requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to motivate and interact professionally with staff.

1st shift: M-F 8am-4:30pm (must be flexible on start/end time as needed)

Responsibilities

Assist the Warehouse Operations Manager in daily operations.Unload trucks and store products in designated locations.Maintain warehouse sanitation and cleanliness.Fulfill transfer order requests by pulling and loading products.Conduct regular inventory counts with a goal of 95% accuracy.Ensure products are safely stacked and shrink-wrapped on pallets.Follow company policies related to safety and security.Provide excellent customer service and motivate staff.Work with diverse populations, including individuals with special needs.

Essential Skills

Ability to foster a cooperative work environment using effective leadership.Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Strong leadership, management, and communication skills.Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.Problem-solving skills and process improvement implementation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a warehouse environment.Experience with forklift, RF scanner, and ERP systems.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Strong computer skills and ability to delegate responsibilities.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

This is a Contract position based out of Washington, D.C..

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.50 - $28.41/hr.
