**Job Title: 1st Shift Shipping Clerk/Warehouse Worker** **Job Description** Join a dynamic distribution company specializing in automotive parts as a long-term shipping clerk/warehouse worker. You will work on the first shift with flexible start times from 5:30 AM or 6:30 AM until 2 PM or 3 PM. This role involves various tasks that contribute to efficient shipping and receiving operations. **Responsibilities** + Receive, restock inventory, manage dispatch, and handle overstock. + Load and unload materials from trucks. + Break down boxes and package items for shipment. + Use order rolling stairs, pickers, and RF scanners to fulfill orders. + Assist Warehouse Supervisors as needed. + Pick orders utilizing stairs to reach materials for the automotive industry. + Package items for shipment. **Essential Skills** + Experience with RF scanners, pallet jacks, and order picking. + Ability to regularly lift and move up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 50 pounds, and occasionally up to 100 pounds. + Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing English. + Capability to stand, walk, sit, push, pull, and reach with hands and arms. + Comfortable climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, or squatting. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Comfortable utilizing rolling safety ladders, about 5-7 steps, and occasionally a 15 ft stair ladder. + Self-motivated and able to work individually in a fast-paced environment. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a supportive work environment with opportunities for career growth.
