**Position Overview:** **We are seeking reliable and motivated Production Technicians to join our night shift team. This role is essential to ensuring the efficient operation of production equipment, maintaining equipment standards, and delivering the highest quality product.** **As a Production Technician, you will play a hands-on role in operating equipment, moving materials, performing product tests, and supporting continuous improvement across the plant.** **Location: Fort Worth, TX** 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM (Monday & Tuesday shifts start at 2 PM, Wednesday - Friday at 1 PM). Mandatory Weekends: Required to work 2-3 Saturdays and Sundays per month. Overtime: Mandatory when required. Pay: 17/hr - Weekly pay **Key Responsibilities:** + Operate production equipment and perform cleaning processes as required + Conduct quality checks and product testing to ensure compliance with standards + Maintain and inspect equipment; own breakdowns in assigned areas + Provide assistance with plant-wide repairs and equipment maintenance + Operate mobile equipment to transport wallboard and raw materials + Lift and handle materials safely as part of daily duties + Use plant computer systems for data input/output and train others in system use + Monitor and manage inventory levels for raw materials, finished goods, and scrap + Maintain high housekeeping and 5S standards + Participate in daily team meetings to discuss performance and improvements + Train others and contribute to ongoing employee development initiatives + Engage in WCM (World Class Manufacturing) activities + Perform other duties as needed across the plant **Qualifications:** + High school diploma or equivalent + Mechanical aptitude and experience with production equipment preferred + Ability to lift heavy materials and safely operate mobile equipment + Comfortable using computer systems and learning software applications + Strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork + Willingness to work a fixed night shift schedule If this is a role that interests you and you’d like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
