The Warehouse Floater performs a variety of functions including but not limited to; industrial forklift/reach truck/high-lift operation, product selection, receiving and palletizing while adhering to USDA Safety and Sanitation Regulations and customer specifications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Operate forklift/reach truck to lower stock to ground level pick slots from higher level reserve slots

Identify and transport material to and from storage areas and loading docks

Place received stock in higher level reserve slots

Perform operations and safety checks, including battery, brakes, and lift controls

Select and pack (Selection) orders per customer specification

Scan product as directed to capture required data

Ship and receive product utilizing assigned material handling equipment

Complete miscellaneous other duties as assigned by management

Work continually in cooler (35°F- 45°F) & freezer (-10°F to +10°F), company apparel provided

Requirements

High School graduate or GED preferred

Basic Reading, Writing and Math skills

Prior experience operating a forklift/high-lift is required

Minimum six months warehouse experience required

Ability to frequently lift 20lbs. - 80lbs.

Work overtime as needed

Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law. The expected base rate for this role is between $23-$27
