We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Coordinator to join our team on 12 Months Fixed term basis based in Port Melbourne. This position is on day shift and will be based 100% onsite.

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for performing all logistical functions, MRP system transactions, work order releases, shipping functions and scrap replacements.

Position Responsibilities:
 

Perform stock transactions using ERP SystemEnsure the necessary parts and equipment are supplied to the production area in the correct quantities and on time to meet business needs – manage the expediting of components to the necessary areas as requiredPerform production order release, pick and track production orders on ERP System, maintaining configuration and lot traceabilitySupport scrap, AOG and spares replacementReceipt / transact goods throughout the process flowIdentify potential and critical shortages that may / will impact schedule(s)Maintain ERP system accuracy - warehouse bin maintenance, control of inventory, run scheduled cycle counts of inventory including offsite, analyse results and action appropriatelyExpedite material for testing, monitoring availability and following up where necessaryEmbrace and apply evolving techniques / CPI activities / new experiencesAssist with stock purges of parts where discrepancies are foundPrepare, organise and participation in a full stock takeSupport Disposal of conforming excess/obsolete InventoryProvide job training where requiredShip deliverable parts and book transport as per business requirements

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):
 

3+ years experience in a manufacturing/logistics/warehouse coordinator role and knowledge of the process flows within Proficient computer skills in MS Excel, Word and OutlookKnowledge of ERP desiredDemonstrated organizational and time management skillsStrong understanding and commitment to 5S and Lean principlesSafety conscious and able to adhere to safety requirementsAbility to work in a routine and fast paced environmentHigh attention to detail with a ‘can do’ attitudeAbility to work without supervisionExcellent written and verbal communication skillsGood interpersonal skills and ability to liaise directly with internal customersPrepared to work in a changing environment and adapt to continuous improvementApplications must have Australian Citizenship to meet security clearance requirements
 

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):

Current Forklift license is desirable
 

Additional Information:
This is an Enterprise Agreement position classified as an Aerospace Technician 1A. The successful candidate will be required to complete pre-employment checks and a 3 month probationary period.
