Warehouse Coordinator
Job Title: Warehouse CoordinatorJob Description

As a Warehouse Coordinator, you will maintain real-time communication with other Operations department leaders to ensure seamless operations in the warehouse. You will be responsible for ensuring that applicable warehouse processes are followed, leading the transportation of raw materials and packages, and adhering to company policies and procedures. You will oversee the accuracy of maintenance logs and ensure compliance with all regulations regarding occupational health and food safety.

ResponsibilitiesProvide guidance, training, and direction to warehouse associates, ensuring they follow procedures and meet productivity goals.Manage and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products.Ensure accurate inventory levels through regular counts, record-keeping, and system updates, making adjustments as needed.Maintain the daily shipping and receiving schedule.Communicate any product shortages and damages in a timely manner.Monitor the warehouse to ensure products are moved safely, timely, and efficiently.Oversee and ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).Make recommendations on process improvements that promote employee safety and maximize warehouse efficiency.Essential SkillsInventory controlForklift operationMaterial handlingData entrySupervisory skillsCycle countsInventory managementWarehouse supervisionAdditional Skills & QualificationsHigh School diploma or state-issued equivalency certificate requiredThree years of experience in warehouse, shipping, or productionExcellent verbal and written communication skillsBasic proficiency in MS OfficeStrong process orientation and attention to detailProblem-solving skillsAbility to multi-task within a progressive organizationBilingual in English and Spanish is highly preferredAbility to work overtime and multiple shifts, including nights and weekendsForklift certification requiredWhy Work Here?

This position offers a long-term opportunity to train from a coordinator into a supervisor role. You will be responsible for the daily output of 10 warehouse workers, providing a meaningful and impactful leadership experience.

Work Environment

The role operates within a food production facility warehouse, dealing with food products and production line demands. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 7 am to 3:30 pm, with 3 to 6 hours of overtime weekly based on production needs.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bayonne, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.
