Responsibilities Responsible for the safety of yourself, your co-workers, and the environmentCheck in truck drivers and direct them to dock doors based on scheduled appointmentsReview shipping logistics menu for any orders to be shipped and print pick-packsRoute and schedule all shipments from branches with Brokers/3PL or any customer routing portals/guidesUse Truck Management System (TMC) to build and schedule loads that are not customer pick-upReview and utilize dock manager to schedule all inbound/outbound ST/OTsEffectively communicate between plants and the RDC along with the Warehouse Manager for any inventory issues (shortages/damage)Ship confirms all shipped loads at the end of the dayCommunicate with CSR of any loads that did not ship and require date changesIdentify and report safety concerns through near misses and observationsResponsible for the quality of all processes and products that you encounterBe knowledgeable and fulfill all customer requirementsIdentify and report all quality concerns to the Warehouse ManagerBe actively engaged in safety and quality programsResponsible for developing a safe and friendly work environmentFollow all ISO/GMP/SQF and Food Safety requirements and any other standard operating procedure Qualifications Must have previous forklift experienceHigh school diploma / GED equivalentProven ability to lead and understand all customers for each product lineStrong organizational skills and proven ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneouslyAble to work independently in a potentially isolated area of the buildingExcellent attendance recordExcellent reading comprehensionCompetency in simple mathProven competency in written and verbal communicationAbility to problem solve and execute solutionsAbility to effectively use a computerAbility to read Standard English Text for Customer RequirementsHours: 8:45AM - 5PM (Monday-Friday)
