The Role

We are seeking a Warehouse Co-ordinator to join our Victoria Warehouse & Distribution team at Baxter. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our distribution center operates flawlessly, handling the day to day enquiries from both internal team members and external customers. You will be part of an ambitious team dedicated to operational excellence, where your contributions will make a direct impact on our ability to deliver world-class healthcare products.

Job Responsibilities

Manage all phone-related queries made to the distribution center to satisfy customer (internal/external) and transport supplier requests

Problem solve and analyze stock-related queries, correcting any inventory non-conformance or customer discrepancies

Expedite and locate receipts and orders requiring immediate processing and dispatch to resolve time-sensitive issues

Stay abreast of daily activities within the distribution teams and provide support to overcome labor shortages as needed

Ensure compliance with the manufacture, storage, and distribution of registered medical products, adhering strictly to GWP, ISO 9001, and AS 4187 standards

Maintain established storage and transportation solutions, ensuring products meet all GWP and local regulatory requirements

Assist in maintaining Key Performance Indicators to establish trends and implement solutions for continuous improvement

Apply Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) guidelines to all tasks and responsibilities.

Report any environmental or safety incidents using the proper forms

Notify senior management and the Health and Safety Manager of serious incidents promptly

Align with government regulations, legal documents, and safety and ethical standards

Perform other duties as required.

Key requirements

Prior experience in warehousing and distribution within the healthcare/pharmaceutical/ consumer goods industries

Certificate III in Transport & Distribution

Licensed to use materials handling equipment.

Dangerous Goods Storage and Handling Certification.

Problem-solving attitude and ability to work under pressure

Good communication and rapport building skills

Interaction: Communicate helpfully and build rapport

Take action with good judgment and reason

Good team player with a can-do attitude!
