**Job Title: Warehouse Clerk** **Job Description** We are seeking a Warehouse Clerk for our industrial-grade connector and customized cable solutions facility. This is a temp-to-hire position, with the potential for full-time employment based on performance. Our facility emphasizes cleanliness, offers a temperature-controlled environment, and has an on-site cafeteria. **Responsibilities** + Process orders using a computer, requiring good computer skills and attention to detail. + Tasks may vary based on current needs, including putting away skids via a pallet jack, picking and packing orders, and lifting packages. + Use an iPhone that operates as an RF Scanner for picking, packing, and inventory purposes. + Be able to lift at least 50 lbs. **Essential Skills** + 3 months of general warehouse experience. + Experience in picking and packing. + Previous use of an RF scanner. + Reliability and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Forklift certification or experience is a plus. **Why Work Here?** Our facility has recently expanded, investing $6 million for product expansion and relocating the warehouse to accommodate more production lines. The building is split into two departments, with separate assembly taking place. Candidates will work in the HCS (Harting Cable Solutions) department. Protective footwear is required, and the facility is located in Elgin, IL. The position is for 1st shift, 6:00am-2:30pm, with mandatory overtime when needed. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elgin, IL. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $26.10/hr.
