Job Description
Join our dynamic warehouse and procurement team as a Warehouse Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the procurement of goods and materials, managing inventory, and ensuring smooth and efficient warehouse operations. Initially offered as a one-month contract, there is potential for extension and the addition of a second shift.
ResponsibilitiesCoordinate the procurement of goods and materials.Manage inventory control processes.Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (Oracle EMM) for data input and inventory management.Use computers daily for data entry and email correspondence.Create and maintain documentation, including Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.Handle internal inquiries related to warehouse services.Create and manage labels for inventory.Operate ERP systems (NetSuite, Microsoft Suite, Outlook, Excel, Teams, SAP Oracle).Ensure high attention to detail and accurate auditing.Perform picking, loading, and unloading of shipments.Conduct general cleaning and maintenance tasks.Dispose of trash and debris by sweeping and shoveling.Complete additional tasks as assigned.Essential SkillsExperience in forklift operation.Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems.Strong computer skills, particularly in creating Excel spreadsheets and using Microsoft suites.Knowledge of inventory and cycle counting procedures.Experience in computer data entry and RF scanner usage.Additional Skills & Qualifications2+ years of experience working in a warehouse environment (manufacturing, food production, etc.).Preferred: 1 year of lead or manager experience.Proficient in inventory control and order pulling.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment is a steel, metal, and auto recycling company with a long-standing presence. The Oakland site features both an indoor production area and a large outdoor yard. Expect heavy machinery, moving parts, loud noises, and a dusty setting. The warehouse is located at the front of the work site. The dress code requires steel toe shoes, pants, a plain t-shirt or sweater, and a vest provided by the company. The morning shift starts at 7 am with Saturday overtime as needed. Be prepared for overtime work, currently scheduled for two Saturdays a month.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
