Overview of the Role

You'll discover a stimulating atmosphere that fosters your professional growth in a clean and safe environment at Saputo, located in Saskatoon, SK. Reporting to the Supervisor, this position is responsible for order picking, loading/unloading, and general warehouse duties. Forklift experience, including High Lift and Dock Stocker operation is required.

Salary: Starting wage is $22.61/hour, with additional premiums of $0.60/hour for evening shifts and $1.60/hour for night shifts

Schedule: Up to 40 hours per week, with a mix of day and/or night shifts — weekend shifts included weekend availability is required

How you will make contributions that matter:

Accurately pick and assemble orders for shipmentLoad and unload delivery trucks using equipment safely and efficientlyReceive incoming products and store them in designated areasInspect freight for accuracy and report any damages or discrepanciesIdentify and dispose of damaged or leaking productsOperate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and floor scrubbersTroubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic corrective actionsMaintain cleanliness of the facility and perform general housekeeping dutiesUpdate cleaning logs and other required documentation dailyRecord shift data and support inventory trackingAssist with unplanned tasks and other duties as assigned

You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications: 

Valid forklift certification with hands-on experience operating a High Lift and Dock StockerPhysically capable of meeting job demands (e.g., standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, working in cooler environments)Comfortable using systems such as SAP, Maestro, RF scanners, and voice pick technologyExperience in a food or dairy environment (asset)Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skillsSelf-motivated and results-oriented; able to work independently with minimal supervisionDetail-oriented with a strong commitment to safetyComfortable working in a fast-paced environment
