Our client, a leading organization in logistics and distribution, is seeking a Warehouse Associate (Heavy Lifting) to join their team. As a Warehouse Associate (Heavy Lifting), you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting the delivery and receipt of goods. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Warehouse Associate (Heavy Lifting)
**Location:** Atlanta, GA
**Pay Range:** $19
**Shift:** Nights, Sunday - Thursday 6:30 pm until finished
**What's the Job?**
+ Safely unload trailers of product, verify accuracy, and stage for put-away
+ Pull orders from warehouse locations and utilize conveyor systems for sorting and staging
+ Hand-load semi-trucks and smaller box trucks according to delivery requirements
+ Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks as needed
+ Use Warehouse Management System (WMS) scan guns to maintain accurate inventory levels and locations
**What's Needed?**
+ Minimum of 1 year of warehouse experience or equivalent education and experience
+ **Ability to lift 35-48 lbs consistently and up to 100 lbs occasionally**
+ Must be able to read and comprehend loading screens and door sheets
+ Strong attention to detail and ability to work at a fast pace
+ **Must meet minimum age requirement of 18 years old**
