**Job Title: Warehouse Worker** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Worker who will play a critical role in our operations by driving forklifts, unloading trucks, scanning items into inventory, and performing general warehouse tasks such as lifting and moving furniture and assisting other departments. **Responsibilities** + Operate stand-up order picker to efficiently pull and put away furniture. + Unload trucks and scan items into inventory systems. + Perform manual tasks including lifting and moving furniture weighing over 50 pounds. + Open boxes and unwrap sofas. + Move furniture within the warehouse and showroom. + Maintain cleanliness by sweeping warehouse floors. + Assist other departments with various tasks. + Engage in some computer work related to inventory management. + Ensure wrapping and handling of furniture is done safely. **Essential Skills** + Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds. + Proficient in general labor tasks related to warehouse operations. + Ability to push, pull, lift, and carry moderate to heavy furniture for an 8-hour shift. + Attention to detail and careful handling of items. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Forklift experience is a plus. + Prior experience in assembly, production, manufacturing, or general warehouse labor is beneficial. **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic and supportive work environment where your contributions are valued. The environment is temperature-controlled and kept clean. The work schedule is Monday through Thursday from 1:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Itasca, Illinois. **Pay and Benefits** **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
