Pay Rate: $17.25 per hour

Job title: Full-time; Contract-to-Permanent

We’re looking for a Storeroom Attendant / Parts Counter Associate to support daily operations across several onsite customer locations. Think of this role like a tool room or parts counter attendant—similar to walking into a NAPA store and helping customers get the exact part they’re looking for. No forklift experience is needed, and full training is provided!

⭐ About the Role

This warehouse-based position plays a key role in keeping materials flowing and customers supported. You’ll be responsible for managing parts requests, organizing inventory, and traveling between four nearby customer locations throughout each shift using your personal vehicle.

All interviews and initial training will take place at:
1020 S Mears Ave., Whitehall, MI 46461

What You'll Do

Pull, prepare, and stage customer orders for pickup

Assist customers and provide excellent service at the counter

Verify incoming stock and properly put materials away

Keep the storeroom safe, clean, organized, and secure

Read and understand work orders

Travel between four designated locations (approx. 2 hours per site)

What We’re Looking For (Must Haves)

6 months of solid longevity at your most recent employer

No employment gaps over 3 months

At least 6 months of customer service experience

Ability to work Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM (8‑hour shift)

Ability to pass a government background check and drug screen (strict clearance required for this contract)

Reliable personal vehicle for daily travel between sites

Strong attendance and punctuality—this is critical

Ability to work without personal cell phone use during shift

Preferred Qualifications

(Not required but helpful!)

Warehouse or storeroom experience

Basic computer/data entry skills

Ability to learn product names and parts quickly

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Pay Details: $17.25 per hour
