**Job Title: Warehouse Associate** **Job Description** The primary focus of this role is to efficiently pick orders and load/unload trucks. You will be responsible for picking orders throughout the warehouse, operating sit-down and stand-up reach forklifts, pulling pallets off shelves, scanning packages, pallets, and inventory, and performing other warehouse-related tasks. **Responsibilities** + Pick orders throughout the warehouse. + Operate sit-down and stand-up reach forklifts. + Pull pallets off shelves. + Scan packages, pallets, and inventory. + Load and unload trucks. + Handle other warehouse-related tasks, including unloading trucks by hand when receiving a load of light paint brush boxes. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in operating a stand-up reach forklift. + Experience with sit-down forklifts. + Ability to use scanners for inventory purposes. + Knowledge of order picking and packing. + Experience in material handling and warehouse inventory management. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with pallet jacks. + Experience in shipping and receiving. **Why Work Here?** Employees enjoy a Step Progression program that offers reviews and raises over an 18-month period, with merit raises available afterward. The facility is not air-conditioned and has a paint and chemical smell, which is not hazardous. The dress code requires steel or composite toe shoes, long pants, and prohibits sleeveless shirts, piercings, or jewelry. Safety glasses and earplugs are provided for certain areas of the plant. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cary, IL. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.
