Our client, a leading organization in the logistics and government contracting industry, is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join their dynamic team. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be an integral part of the operations team supporting various logistical and shipping functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Warehouse Associate
**Location:** St. Rose, LA
**Pay Range: $19.00-$22.00**
**Shift: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm**
**What's the Job?**
+ Unload semi-trucks of pallets and inventory shipments weekly, ensuring accuracy and safety.
+ Move pallets within the warehouse using forklift skills, maintaining organization and efficiency.
+ Package orders, create shipping labels, and manage UPS and FedEx shipments daily.
+ Handle inbound shipments from vendors and outbound shipments to customers, including federal government contracts.
+ Assist with local deliveries and pickups, ensuring timely and safe transportation.
**What's Needed?**
+ Physical stamina for long periods of standing, walking, and lifting 50+ lbs frequently.
+ Basic computer skills, including email and Windows applications; training provided for ERP systems.
+ Forklift experience is preferred; training available for qualified candidates.
+ Clean driving record for local deliveries and pickups.
+ Ability to work in various conditions, including temperature fluctuations and heights, with a focus on safety.
