Responsibilities

Operate sit-down forklifts to load steel plates onto trucks for shipping.Follow customer orders accurately in the shipping process.Palletize products and transport them throughout the shipping department.Read and measure diameters using a tape measure up to 1/32 inch.Convert fractions to decimals and vice versa.Measure and prepare steel plates, grinding and deburring imperfections.Package products in correctly sized boxes or containers.Complete necessary shipping paperwork, including bills of lading.Maintain a clean and organized work area.Learn and distinguish different grades and gauges of material.

Essential Skills

1+ years of experience in forklift operation (sit down).Experience in shipping and following customer orders.Ability to read and measure using a tape measure.Experience in palletizing.Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.Job Type & Location

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
