**Job Title: Warehouse Associate** **Job Description**
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team. You will play a key role in receiving and put-away of inbound freight, picking and shipping customer orders, and managing product distribution in accordance with procedural standards. Your contributions will ensure that our warehouse remains organized, safe, and efficient.
**Responsibilities**
+ Receive and put-away all inbound freight according to procedural standards.
+ Pick and ship customer orders as well as 3PL items according to procedural standards.
+ Manage product distribution to and from manufacturing.
+ Apply FIFO/FEFO rotation principles.
+ Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse stocking areas, adhering to federal, state, and local safety rules.
+ Tag items in the warehouse with appropriate labels such as barcode labels and allergen stickers.
+ Ensure stocked items are organized, allergen-separated, and easily accessible.
+ Inspect inventory items for defects or damage and report findings to the Inventory Control Department.
+ Report quality defects of ingredients to the Quality Control team.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in RF scanning systems.
+ Experience operating reach trucks and hi-lows.
+ Knowledge of the FIFO system.
+ Ability to work off pick lists and system-driven reports.
+ Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
+ Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
+ Ability to build strong working relationships and collaborate efficiently.
+ Self-motivation, confidence, energy, and the ability to work under pressure.
+ Detail-oriented with standard mathematical acumen.
+ Sound understanding and application of safety rules and regulations.
+ Ability to use warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, hand trucks, and pallet jacks.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Ability to multi-task effectively.
+ Standard ability to apply general mathematical concepts.

**Work Environment**
The position operates during the 3rd shift (11pm-7am) and involves working in dry, refrigerated, and freezer conditions. You will regularly work near moving machinery and mechanical parts, occasionally in high places. The role may expose you to wet and humid conditions, temperature extremes, fumes, airborne particles, and vibrations. The noise level is typically moderate. Products manufactured in the facility may contain peanuts, milk, and tree nuts. Physical requirements include regular standing, walking, talking, and listening during the production shift, as well as frequent lifting of up to 25 pounds and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of East Brunswick, NJ.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.50/hr.
