Overhead Crane Operator

Job Description

As a Warehouse Associate, you will use an overhead crane to control the lifting, moving, and positioning of loads. You will ensure that the load is safely attached and within lifting limits, keeping the crane clean and well-maintained. Additionally, you will track inventory in your designated bay, and load semis with structural steel beams based on order sheets.

Responsibilities

Operate an overhead crane to lift, move, and position loads.Ensure loads are safely attached and within lifting limits.Maintain and clean the crane regularly.Track inventory in your assigned bay.Load structural steel beams onto trucks based on order sheets.

Essential Skills

Experience operating equipment in a warehouse environment.Prior experience with forklifts or electric pallet jacks.Experience in material handling and order picking.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience operating an overhead crane is highly preferred.Any heavy equipment operating experience is a plus.6+ months operating a forklift (sit-down, stand-up, or high reach).6+ months operating any sort of heavy equipment.6+ months of general warehouse experience.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
