Job Description
Accurately and efficiently process incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring that all products are properly stored, picked, and packaged for delivery.
ResponsibilitiesReceive and process incoming shipment trucks, record and check in merchandise and materials, mark appropriately, and check for damages.Sort, move, and place materials from receiving or storage areas to the appropriate designated area.Accurately read and assemble customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, and requisitions from stock, determining if items need to be relocated to the holding area, moved to the designated route driver storage area, distributed, or shipped.Maintain inventory accuracy by conducting cycle counts and reconciling discrepancies.Prepare parcels for mailing.Keep the warehouse clean and organized to ensure the safety and accessibility of routes for employees and customers.Essential SkillsInventory managementPickingPackingGeneral laborMaterial handlingLoadingShipping and receivingPackagingRF scanner usageInventory controlWarehouse inventory managementAdditional Skills & QualificationsNo experience needed, but must be willing to learn.Work Environment

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kansas City, Kansas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
