Job Title: Warehouse Associate

Job Description

As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our facility by managing the loading and unloading of freight, sorting shipments, and ensuring the cleanliness and safety of the work area. You will be responsible for reconciling driver pick-up and delivery manifests and recording any damaged or misrouted freight.

ResponsibilitiesLoad inbound and outbound freight to and from vehicles and containers.Unload inbound and outbound containers and sort according to size and destination.Read, decode, and decipher freight coding to expedite freight movement and tracing.Reconcile driver pick-up and delivery manifests.Label, weigh, and dimensionalize freight.Perform cleanup activities to ensure safety and cleanliness of the dock.Record damaged shipments and misrouted freight on applicable reports.Essential SkillsExperience with material handling and inventory management.Proficiency in operating forklifts and reach trucks.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in freight coding and tracing is beneficial.Ability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

This is a brand new facility that is clean and climate-controlled, providing a pleasant work environment. We offer multiple shift options to accommodate various schedules: 1st shift (7:00 am to 2:30 pm), 2nd shift (3:00 pm to 11:30 pm), and 3rd shift (11:00 pm to 7:30 am), with competitive hourly rates. Additionally, weekend shifts are available from Friday to Sunday with attractive compensation. Candidates will train on the 1st shift during their first week.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Florence, Kentucky.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.25/hr.
