**Warehouse Associate** **1st shift | Carol Stream, IL** **Overview** Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Associate in the Shipping and Receiving Department. This role requires precision and attention to detail as you will be responsible for tracking inventory using computer systems, handling shipping operations, and maintaining warehouse organization. The ideal candidate will have experience in shipping & receiving tasks, UPS/FedEx, and can operate a sit down forklift. The typical schedule will be 7AM-3:30PM with overtime before or after the shift. If you are interested in this position, then please apply today and an Aerotek Recruiter will reach out to you within 24-48 hours. **Responsibilities** + Work with computers to verify and input inventory data. + Coordinate with UPS and FedEx systems for shipping operations. + Perform tear downs and stage products for shipment. + Count and label boxed products accurately. + Review Bills of Lading (BOLs) for accuracy. + Move received goods to their proper bin or rack locations. + Operate heavy equipment such as pallet jacks, wave riders, and forklifts. + Build pallets, wrap finished goods, and prepare them for shipment. **Essential Skills** + Experience with RF Scanners. + Previous warehouse experience. + Ability to use computer systems efficiently. + Knowledge of warehouse inventory management. + Experience with inventory tracking and RF scan guns. + Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally. **Work Environment** You will be part of a team of 35 employees including bench techs, solderers, assemblers, and office staff. Work is conducted in a clean room environment at individual work stations, primarily sitting while performing tasks. Normal work hours are from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, with overtime from 6 AM to 4:30 PM, and occasional Saturdays required. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of CAROL STREAM, Illinois. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
