Warehouse Attendant Location: Santa Clarita Job Type: Contract to Hire Pay: $18 - $25 pending experience and interview **Job Summary:** We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials, tools, equipment, and products within the warehouse. This role plays a key part in maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring timely order fulfillment. **Key Responsibilities:** + Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality. + Organize and store items in designated warehouse locations. + Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to company standards. + Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse. + Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely. + Perform regular inventory counts and assist with inventory reconciliation. + Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times. + Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed. + Report any discrepancies or damaged goods to the supervisor. **Qualifications:** + High school diploma or equivalent. + Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred. + Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs). + Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems. + Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. + Forklift certification is a plus. **Working Conditions:** + Fast-paced warehouse environment. + May require standing for long periods and working in varying temperatures.
