Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Associate & Crate Builder, where you will be an integral part of a world-class supplier of power generation services, specializing in wind turbine manufacturing and power plant repairs. This role offers an opportunity to work on a contract basis, with potential for direct hire. You will be responsible for building crates for large components and managing shipping parts with precision and care.
ResponsibilitiesBuild wood crates/boxes for parts and components with precision.Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule, including loading, packing, wrapping, labeling, and shipping.Receive and process warehouse stock products, which involves picking, unloading, labeling, and storing items.Perform inventory controls and maintain high quality standards for audits.Ensure a clean and safe working environment while optimizing space utilization.Safely operate stand-up forklifts and manage loading/unloading of vans and trucks as necessary.Ensure the workspace is free of debris and highlight any safety hazards.Essential SkillsExperience in warehouse or shipping & receiving in a manufacturing environment.Knowledge of large component crating or relative construction experience.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.Additional Skills & QualificationsCurrent forklift certification (preferred) or ability to pass training.Experience in building wood crates (preferred) or ability to learn.Physically able to stand, sit, move, squat, walk, and climb during the course of the day.Ability to lift up to 75lbs.Solid verbal and written communication skills.Familiarity with inventory software.Able to work independently with high attention to detail.Must follow all health and safety procedures and regulations.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse that can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter. The team consists of three warehouse associates reporting to the Warehouse Manager, working Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional overtime. Performance is measured by organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to complete daily tasks without rework. Attendance and punctuality are crucial.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
