Description

Product by skid, crate, or box to be shipped and processes routine and standard shipping paperwork.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

• Maintains a clean and safe working environment by the proper and timely disposition and storage of materials.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

• Supports assembly with repackaging, kitting, and staging of materials.

• Safely removes and disposes of wood, plastic,\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

metal, and other packaging materials according to standard procedures.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

• Works with SAP to update storage bin information and identify and locate materials.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

• Completes routine inspections of material handling equipment.

Candidate would be responsible for the following:

• Operating a turret truck forklift (candidate will be lifted into the air to pick orders - cannot have a fear of heights)

• Will be operating a sit-down forklift to move picked orders from racks to shipping

• Candidates will be on a forklift (turret and sitdown) roughly 10-20% of their shift after they are trained and certified. This is not a job where they will be on the forklift for most of the day, so if they want that not the job

• Responsible for taking scrap bins to the unloading area where they will transfer the materials into the dumpster

• Candidates will be responsible for unloading and loading trucks via the forklift each day

• Unloads trucks according to procedure.

• Visually inspects parts and moves to receiving parts staging.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

• Operates forklift trucks and/or cranes to move materials into and

out of assembly work areas.\t\t\t\t\t\t

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.90/hr.
