Warehouse Associate in Columbia, MD, paying $20/hr

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Associate, where you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth operations within our warehouse. You will work Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, supporting various functions such as shipping, receiving, kitting, labeling, and packing.

ResponsibilitiesCreate new inventory kits.Consolidate and perform quality control checks on returning inventory and kits.Follow guidelines for managing and purging inventory/material based on expiration dates and lot numbers.Pack and box up kitted items.Restock inventory on packing floor.Restock depleted pick locations with reserve inventory as needed.Conduct daily cycle counts using warehouse management system on a handheld device.Stock newly received inventory.Essential Skills1-2 years of warehouse experience.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Excellent interpersonal communication skills.Positive can-do attitude.Safety-conscious.Organized.Ability to multitask.Highly self-motivated.Must be able to lift 50 pounds consistently.Willingness to work overtime as needed.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with order pulling, shipping and receiving.General labor and material handling expertise.Familiarity with pallet jacks, picking, packing, kitting, and labeling.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

This position operates within a professional and physical warehouse environment, utilizing standard equipment such as dollies, skids, pallet jacks, computers, and phones. You will be required to lift and carry boxes and lab equipment weighing up to 50 pounds regularly.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
