**Job Title: Warehouse Associate** **Job Description** As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for the finishing and final inspection of parts and their preparation for shipping according to work instructions. This role demands strong attention to detail and the ability to ensure product quality before shipment. **Responsibilities** + Utilize Plex system to ensure product and procedure accuracy. + Remove slag using an air gun and mallet. + Steam clean pieces to remove dirt and chips. + Dip parts into rust remover. + Oil parts prior to packaging. + Conduct final inspection of parts. + Band work pieces and prepare them for shipping. + Build pallets and package boxes for shipment. + Ensure accuracy of product. + Print and label boxes/containers. + Read blueprints to verify product completion. **Essential Skills** + Inventory management + Picking and packing + Ability to read and interpret blueprints + Visual quality inspection of parts + Final preparation and cleaning of products before shipment + General labor + Packaging + Inventory control **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Attention to detail + Shipping experience + Experience with larger products **Why Work Here?** The company was recently acquired by a leading industry player and offers long-term opportunities for employees. It is older and divided into two separate buildings, characterized by loud, dirty, and varying temperatures. Employees work within specific departments with supervisors and set teams. The facility houses large CNC machinery, weld booths, and racking systems, and there are ongoing efforts to upgrade the environment. Steel-toed footwear is required. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dyer, Indiana. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.40 - $17.40/hr.
