Warehouse / Counter Associate

Job Description

The Warehouse / Counter Associate is responsible for preparing customer orders for pick-up, handling the unloading and loading of transfer trucks, accurately checking in materials, and maintaining the warehouse in an orderly manner to support the branch's reputation as the preferred electrical distributor in the area.

ResponsibilitiesPick customer orders from the warehouse and deliver to the counter, including pulling and cutting wire.Unload and load transfer trucks, with or without the use of a forklift.Check, record, and organize stock and materials.Prepare deliveries for cross-docking.Maintain a clean and organized warehouse.Assist Counter Sales Associates as needed.Provide courteous and polite service to customers.Follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision.Arrive on time and work effectively with co-workers or independently.Multi-task and prioritize tasks throughout the day.Perform additional duties such as picking, packing, material handling, loading, shipping, and receiving.Essential Skills1-2 years of warehouse experience, preferably in the electrical distribution industry.Strong mathematical, verbal, and written communication skills.Capability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 70 lbs occasionally.Dependability, responsibility, and a strong work ethic.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in the electrical distribution industry is preferred.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
