Job Title: Warehouse Associate
Job Description

This position primarily involves working in the warehouse, but also requires flexibility and openness to cross-training in the assembly/operator side of the shop. Employees will be expected to adapt to various roles, including hands-on mechanical assembly and working in the machine shop with CNC machines. Training is available for candidates with a solid understanding of warehouse and production functions.

ResponsibilitiesStock parts efficiently and accurately.Pick and pull parts for orders across different departments.Receive parts by unboxing, counting, labeling, and organizing them.Ship orders using UPS, FedEx, truck lines, and delivery services, including boxing parts and processing orders through computer systems.Perform miscellaneous warehouse duties such as cleaning and trash removal.Engage in assembly and production tasks as needed.Operate CNC machines and maintain production standards.Essential SkillsAt least 2 years of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing facility.Proficiency in picking, packing, shipping, and receiving.Familiarity with UPS and FedEx shipping processes.Strong inventory management skills.Mechanical aptitude and experience with warehouse functions.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.Detail-oriented with excellent accuracy in counting inventory and verifying part numbers.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for the entire shift.Basic computer skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsExcellent attendance record.Willingness to work overtime with little notice.Knowledge of packaging boxes and preparing LTL skid shipments.Ability to operate a pallet jack.Positive and energetic attitude.Basic math skills.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The manufacturing facility is clean and organized, with a smaller warehouse department. The shift is from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional starts at 7:00 am when needed.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lenexa, Kansas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
