**Job Title: Warehouse Associate** **Job Description** Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Associate where you'll play a pivotal role in managing the efficient flow of goods within our facility. You'll ensure that all inbound freight is received and put away according to procedural standards, and handle the picking and shipping of customer orders. **Responsibilities** + Receive and put away all inbound freight according to procedural standards. + Pick and ship customer orders as well as 3PL items following procedural standards. + Distribute products to and from manufacturing using FIFO/FEFO rotation. + Maintain a clean and well-organized warehouse stocking area in accordance with safety rules. + Receive and tag items in the warehouse with barcode labels, pallet tags, and allergen stickers. + Ensure stocked items are organized, allergen-separated, and readily accessible. + Inspect inventory items for defects or damage and report to the Inventory Control Department. + Report quality defects of ingredients to the Quality Control team. **Essential Skills** + RF scanning system knowledge. + Experience operating reach trucks and hi-lows. + Knowledge of FIFO system. + Ability to work off pick lists and system-driven reports. + Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. + Bilingual Spanish proficiency is a plus. + Ability to build excellent working relationships and collaborate efficiently. + Self-motivated, confident, energetic, and capable of operating under pressure. + Detail-oriented with standard mathematical acumen. + Sound understanding and application of safety rules and regulations. + Proficiency in using warehouse equipment like reach trucks, hand trucks, and pallet jacks. + Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to effectively use Microsoft software. + Standard ability to apply general mathematical concepts. + Exhibit self-motivation and confidence. + Ability to multi-task efficiently. **Why Work Here?** Experience remarkable growth and stability in a company that has doubled its size in the past four years. You will regularly work near moving machinery and mechanical parts, sometimes in high places. Occasionally, you might be exposed to wet or humid conditions, ambient air, temperature extremes, fumes, or airborne particles. The noise level is usually moderate, but products manufactured in the facility may contain peanuts, milk, and tree nuts. Employees are required to stand, walk, and occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch during the production shift. Regular use of hands, fingers, and arms is necessary, and lifting or moving up to 50 pounds may be required. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of East Brunswick, New Jersey. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.75/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
