Warehouse Associate - Bolingbrook, IL

$18/hr - 1st & 2nd shift

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks in the warehouse department, including shipping and receiving, picking, packing, and operating forklifts. This is an all-encompassing warehouse position that requires a candidate who is detail-oriented and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

ResponsibilitiesPerform shipping and receiving duties.Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently.Complete necessary paperwork for shipping and receiving.Operate sit down and stand up forklifts.Maintain inventory and use RF scanners.Perform general labor tasks such as cleaning, organizing, and building pallets/crates.Essential SkillsExperience operating stand up and sit down forklifts.Proficiency in shipping and receiving.Ability to manage warehouse inventory.Experience using RF scanners.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in a production environment (not a DC or 3PL type company).Willingness to cross-train in welding and machining.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The manufacturing floor is very clean, organized, spacious, quiet, and well-lit. The current team consists of about 15 people, with plans to grow to approximately 25 by the end of the year. The work hours are from 7 AM to 3:30 PM for training and then transition to a long-term 2nd shift from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bolingbrook, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
