Job Description
The Warehouse Associate 2 plays a crucial role in managing the flow of products within the warehouse. This position involves handling various tasks such as receiving, shipping, and controlling inventory. The role requires proficiency in packaging, crating, bundling, and preparing products for shipment and receipt. The use of banding, stretch wrap machines, RF Scanners, and material handling equipment is integral to the job.
ResponsibilitiesReceive products by unloading, crating, preparing for receiving, breaking down, and putting away items.Ship products by picking, crating, preparing for shipping, palletizing, and loading products.Report any damaged material, short quantities, or discrepancies to management immediately.Notify management immediately regarding any facility issues and needs.Return all equipment to correct storage areas at the end of each day.Count inventory within assigned areas to ensure accuracy.Utilize proper lifting techniques and seek assistance when necessary.Attend all safety training meetings.Report all work-related injuries and safety violations to the RDC Manager or RDC Assistant Manager.Comply with governmental safety regulations (OSHA and MSDS).Perform other duties as assigned.Load 8-13 trucks per day on average, and 6-8 LTL trucks per night.Use an RF Scanner for inventory and shipping processes.Essential SkillsProficiency in operating at least one piece of Material Handling Equipment (MHE).Proficient in using powered pallet jacks.Basic math skills for quick and accurate counting, multiplication, and division.Ability to use a handheld scanning computer and navigate through multiple screens.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience operating Reach Trucks, Electric Pallet Jacks, Stand Up Forklifts, and Order Pickers.Capability to perform order picking and replenishment tasks.Ability to handle physical demands such as sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods.Proficiency in lifting 50 pounds using proper techniques.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The warehouse supplies bath and kitchen products. The work environment emphasizes accuracy and careful handling of products. The shift is Monday to Friday, from 3:30 PM to Midnight, with a potential change to 2 PM to 10:30 PM. PPE is provided, and steel-toed boots are not required.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
