Job Title: Warehouse Analyst
Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and data-driven Analyst to support a growing wholesale distribution business. This role is pivotal in optimizing warehouse operations, procurement processes, and cross-functional collaboration across 15 nationwide locations. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, industry experience in building-related products, and a deep understanding of ERP and WMS systems.
Responsibilities
Performance Measurement: Develop and maintain comprehensive reports and KPIs to evaluate procurement effectiveness and its impact on warehouse operations, including vendor discounting and freight terms.Data Analysis & Insights: Analyze data related to procurement and warehouse logistics (inventory levels, order volumes, picking/packing efficiency, labor utilization) and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.Data Integrity & Optimization: Ensure accuracy and consistency of operational data. Identify opportunities for improvement in purchasing, pricing, and warehouse operations.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with inventory control, purchasing, pricing, and warehouse teams to gather requirements and develop solutions for operational challenges.Profit-Minded Strategy: Identify cost-saving opportunities and operational efficiencies through data analysis. Collaborate with stakeholders to implement changes that enhance profitability.Warehouse Operations Support: Spend 30% of time on-site supporting warehouse operations, identifying discrepancies, and assisting with the implementation of a new facility in Detroit Lakes.Essential Skills
Strong knowledge of ERP systems, such as Infor Cloud Suite Distribution, Epicor Prophet21, or Oracle NetSuite.
3+ years of experience as a systems analyst, business analyst, or operations analyst in a wholesale, distribution, or supply chain environment.
Experience with warehouse management/logistics software.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Industry experience related to building materials.
Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Work Environment
This position requires on-site work in Minneapolis every day, with a reporting structure to the operations manager. The company operates 15 different locations across the nation, offering a smaller company feel. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr.
