This internship is a full-time commitment in the Orlando, FL area from January 2027 – May 2027 OR January 2027 – August 2027 dependent on the business needs.

What You Will Do

Conduct Industrial Engineering analysis projects, particularly in operational planning support, workload planning and forecasting, capacity utilization, and efficiency/process improvementsEnsure the appropriate methodology, measurements, tools and quantitative techniques (e.g. data collection, computer simulation, statistics, process flow analysis, etc.) are applied in projectsLead and participate in team efforts and work on projects which require interfacing with all levels of cast and management

Preferred Qualifications

Prior related work experience with a focus on problem-solving

Education

Currently enrolled in an Industrial Engineering program with an intended graduation date on or after May 2027.Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (please note: no rounding) – transcript submission is required 

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements: 

Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship​Be at least 18 years of age​Possess unrestricted work authorization​Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or Disney College Program

Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internshipFully available to work full-time (40 hours per week) throughout the internshipFully available Monday – Friday and occasional evenings and/or weekends depending on project needs for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each weekAble to provide own housing for the duration internship program in the Orlando, FL areaAble to provide reliable transportation to/from work and across Walt Disney World property for on-site projects We provide limited housing opportunities for Florida Based Professional Interns through American Campus Communities, for more information click here.The pay rate for this role in FL is $31 per hour.
