Job Summary:
Thermo King Americas is seeking an experienced strategist and leader to serve as our Product Management Leader for the strategic business unit (SBU). Reporting to the President of Thermo King Americas, the Product Management Leader will manage an approximately $1.3B product portfolio and play a critical role in developing business strategy and fueling new product development activities for the SBU.
The position is responsible for defining the go-forward strategy for the various Thermo King categories, including developing plans for internal investment in NPD & innovation, identifying acquisition opportunities, and right sizing the portfolio to optimize profitable growth in the region. The successful candidate will be a world-class leader with a proven record of creatively and profitably growing product lines and segments, using disciplined portfolio and innovation management processes and tools.
The SBU Product Management Leader will be responsible for developing innovative strategies around electrification for the Thermo King business to achieve dramatic, profitable growth in North America and Latin America regions and will be responsible for leading the organization to implement the strategy. This position is responsible for managing product leaders in Trailer, Truck, Bus, Auxiliary Power Unit (APU), Controls team. This role will be a key member of the Thermo King Americas leadership team and will report directly to the President, Thermo King Americas with a dotted line reporting relationship to the EVP, Chief Technology and Strategy of the company. This role will be based in our Thermo King headquarters in Bloomington, Minnesota.
The role of Product Management at Trane Technologies is an externally-facing, commercially-oriented function that works to drive profitable growth by optimizing the balance between deep customer and market understanding with the technological capability and competitive advantage our businesses have to offer now, and in the future. Product Managers are fully responsible for, and accountable to, meeting or exceeding organic revenue growth targets, maintaining or growing market share and expanding contribution margin for their respective product portfolio.
The Product Management organization will create and prioritize a strategic growth plan for their portfolio, leveraging input from functional leaders within the business. They will be the coordinating resource across all strategic decision-making for their given product line. Product Managers provide P&L leadership for designated products including life-cycle management, multigenerational product plans, NPD process, commercialization and distribution strategy.

What you will bring:
15+ years product management experience in global applied engineering environment, a track record of success in relevant industrial markets is strongly preferredDemonstrated success developing product strategies and defining and launching excellent software/digital solutions into a channel environmentStrong overall business acumen, solid financial grounding and a clear understanding of how our business operates. Compensation:
Base Pay Range: $260,000- $320,000. Total compensation for this role will include an incentive plan.
