VP of Finance
Description We are looking for an experienced and strategic Vice President of Finance to join our team in Hudson County, NJ. This role requires a dynamic leader with a proven track record in technology or software industries, preferably SaaS, and experience in publicly traded organizations. You will oversee global financial operations, manage a team, and drive impactful process improvements to support company growth. Responsibilities: • Oversee and manage the company’s global financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards. • Develop and implement annual budgets, monitor month-end financial close processes, and optimize budget workflows. • Lead the preparation and analysis of financial reports, providing insights to support executive decision-making. • Manage cash flow forecasts to ensure financial stability and identify opportunities for growth. • Provide leadership and mentorship to a global finance team, fostering growth and collaboration. • Collaborate with senior leadership to present financial strategies and updates to stakeholders. • Drive improvements in AI-driven financial processes and systems to enhance operational efficiency. • Identify opportunities for organizational growth and implement strategies to achieve financial objectives. • Ensure alignment of financial practices with the company’s long-term goals and industry trends. Requirements • Extensive experience in finance leadership roles within technology or software industries, preferably SaaS. • Proven track record in a publicly traded company managing financial operations of at least $500-$600 million. • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and expand a global team. • Expertise in developing and overseeing annual budgets, month-end close processes, and financial reporting. • Proficiency in forecasting cash flow and implementing effective budget processes. • Ability to present financial strategies with C-level presence and influence. • Knowledge of AI-driven innovations and process optimization in financial systems. • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
