This leadership role oversees grant and scholarship programs, advances strategic initiatives, advocates for community needs, and builds collaborative relationships with nonprofits, donors, and community partners. **Key Responsibilities:** + Lead the Community Impact Department and staff Community Leadership, Grants, and Scholarship Committees. + Oversee strategic grantmaking and scholarship programs using efficient, applicant-friendly systems. + Build and maintain relationships with nonprofits, donors, and educational institutions. + Use the Foundation’s voice to advocate on community issues and support strategic initiatives. + Collaborate with other departments to increase awareness of the Foundation’s programs and community impact. + Represent the Foundation at events and serve as a spokesperson on community needs and solutions. **Well qualified candidates will have:** + Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in nonprofit leadership, grantmaking and community development. + Strong communication, collaboration, and public speaking skills. + Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and lead diverse stakeholders. + Knowledge of best practices in philanthropy, grants management, and nonprofit operations. **This position comes with:** + Annual base salary of **$110-$115K** with potential for annual COLA and/or Merit increases + Health, Dental & Vision Insurance, Generous PTO and Retirement with a match + A meaningful leadership role working with a team of seasoned nonprofit professionals + An opportunity to make a significant contribution to the Frederick community **Apply today** to see if you are a match for this highly rewarding career opportunity!
