**Position Overview:**
The Vice President of Marketing is a key member of the Canada Leadership Team for Mondelez reporting directly to the Business Unit President.
This position plays a pivotal and strategic role in shaping and defining the future growth strategies of the organization, it holds impactful leadership across the organization matrix, in addition to being responsible for the overall marketing vision and strategy for a brand portfolio of iconic brands such as Cadbury, Sour Patch, Crispers, Maynard, Clif, Christies, Halls, among others and approximately 2B$ in sales. This role leads a talented team, collaborating with cross-functional partners, and driving exceptional creative and innovative marketing initiatives that resonate with consumers and elevate our brands.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in consumer marketing, a passion for brand storytelling, a proven track record of developing successful marketing campaigns with exceptional commercial acumen, operational leadership, cross-functional influence and collaboration and strong P&L results.
**Key Responsibilities:**
Marketing Leadership - Grow share of snacking through purpose driven best-in-class creative marketing:
+ Develop, lead & execute of the integrated marketing Strategy to drive category growth & increase revenue in line with Mondelez brand visions, category growth drivers and consumer emerging trends.
+ Build a long-term roadmap to maximize Mondelez’s brands health, awareness and penetration focusing on key cohorts.
+ Lead the transformation of the marketing organization into digitally enabled, data driven and social first capabilities.
+ Deliver the P&L goals in collaboration with the senior executive leadership team and own the brand end to end plans.
+ Champion a consumer -centric mindset throughout the organization while elevate the consumer insights and competitive analysis to drive robust story telling.
+ Build a strong innovation pipeline to drive category Incrementality leveraging global and local Mondelez resources.
+ Oversee brand creative development to drive conversion.
+ Develop the optimum future portfolio to unlock new growth opportunities and white spaces
+ Lead the relationship with external agency partners to deliver world-class brand engagement campaigns.
+ Lead, mentor, and develop a high performing marketing team across brand, digital, insights and analytics and place marketing and consumers at the heart of our organization culture.
+ Optimize Marketing investments through data driven performance marketing that converts
+ Develop & execute full funnel marketing plans to create demand generation inline with brands strategies & goals for Vision 2030.
**Commercial Execution** - Ensure strong commercial execution with brand end-to-end ownership:
+ Collaborate with executive leadership team on Go to Market Strategy to deliver short- and long-term financial commitments.
+ Build strong brand growth plans with all key growth channels and customers.
+ Ensure the right SKU/product/package in line with brand and biscuit portfolio strategy.
+ Work with cross-functional partners to have strong supply chain, capacity and business development plans to execute full brand portfolio growth strategy.
+ Enable cross functional teams to advance strong brand innovation & renovation execution.
+ Develop gap closure strategies or risk mitigation plans where required to hit plan and growth targets.
**Team Leadership** - Lead and build high performing and creative marketing team that fosters a winning culture

+ Ensure teams are equipped with the necessary tools best-practices and resources to deliver against bold ambitions.
+ Build strong cross-functional collaboration, demonstrating and fostering enterprise mindset and leadership, and fostering key relationships with Sales, R&D, Finance, MSC and other departments to ensure alignment and execution against Brand business objectives and marketing initiatives.
**Qualifications**
+ 15+ years of marketing experience, ideally with additional diverse Commercial/General Management experience.
+ Deep and relevant experience in FMCG/Food & Beverage.
+ Previously led a large-scale marketing organization (full P&L).
+ Deep experience with Canadian market, ideally with global/multi-national company experience.
+ Strong strategic skills with the ability to set and articulate a compelling, ambitious vision with clear long-term objectives and deliverables.
+ Strong analytical capabilities, good balance between IQ & EQ.
+ Confident & inspiring leader, with prior experience of developing high performing teams.
+ An effective collaborator, intellectually curious, able to drive change.
