VP/Director of Finance
Description We are looking for an accomplished Director of Finance to join a leading gaming and hospitality company in Las Vegas, Nevada. This role offers the opportunity to oversee financial operations within a dynamic casino-hotel-resort environment, driving key strategies for fiscal health and growth. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in financial leadership and thrives in fast-paced, complex industries. Responsibilities: • Direct and manage the annual budgeting process, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and financial strategies. • Oversee month-end close procedures to guarantee accurate and timely financial records. • Develop and implement efficient budget processes that enhance operational and financial performance. • Prepare comprehensive financial reports, presenting insights and recommendations to executive leadership. • Monitor and forecast cash flow, ensuring sufficient liquidity for operations and strategic investments. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate financial planning into broader business goals. • Ensure compliance with regulatory and reporting requirements, maintaining transparency and accountability. • Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for business growth. • Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering attention to detail and performance excellence. • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within financial operations to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Requirements • Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial leadership roles, preferably within gaming, hospitality, or similar industries. • Proven expertise in managing annual budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting. • Strong knowledge of month-end close processes and financial systems. • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective budget processes. • Proficiency in preparing and analyzing cash flow forecasts. • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and present actionable insights. • Outstanding communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with executive leadership and cross-functional teams. • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or MBA preferred.
