Description
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic VP/Director of Finance to oversee all aspects of financial planning and analysis (FP& A) in Memphis, Tennessee. This role requires a hands-on leader who can take ownership of the entire financial process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in operations. The ideal candidate will bring a comprehensive understanding of FP& A and demonstrate expertise across key financial areas.
Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage the development of annual budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals..
• Design and implement efficient budget procedures to optimize resource allocation.
• Prepare comprehensive financial reports that provide insights for strategic decision-making.
• Conduct cash flow forecasting to support financial stability and long-term planning.
• Drive all aspects of financial planning and analysis, ensuring data-driven recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial processes and controls.
• Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators to assess financial health and opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Continuously improve financial systems and tools for better operational efficiency.
Requirements
Candidate for this role should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. MBA/CPA highly preferred.
• Proven experience in financial planning and analysis, including overseeing the entire FP& A process.
• Strong expertise in managing annual budgets and month-end close procedures.
• Proficiency in preparing detailed financial reports and conducting cash flow forecasts.
• Solid understanding of budget processes and resource optimization strategies.
• Ability to lead and improve financial systems and processes effectively.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders.
• Manufacturing industry experience is highly desirable but not mandatory.
