VP/Director of Finance

Description We are looking for an experienced financial leader to oversee and optimize financial operations for a multi-site organization in Newport Beach, California. This role requires a strategic thinker who can manage financial forecasting, budgeting, and reporting while ensuring alignment with the company’s high-end service and product standards. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in managing financial models and a deep understanding of cash flow and balance sheet dynamics.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain three-way financial statement models to support strategic decision-making.
• Monitor and manage cash flow, including creating and maintaining a 13-week cash forecast model.
• Supervise financial operations across 300 locations divided into nine regions, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
• Lead month-end close processes and oversee the preparation of accurate financial reports.
• Establish and refine annual budgeting processes that align with organizational goals.
• Provide insights into balance sheet management and ensure proper financial controls are in place.
• Manage and develop one direct report, with potential for team growth in the future.
• Understand the nuances of the company’s high-end product offerings and customer service standards to align financial strategies with business objectives.
• Collaborate with regional leaders to ensure financial alignment across all locations. Requirements • Extensive experience in financial modeling, including three-way financial statement models.
• Proficiency in cash flow forecasting and balance sheet management.
• Strong knowledge of annual budgets and month-end close processes.
• Expertise in financial reporting and budget process optimization.
• Ability to work effectively in a multi-site environment with diverse regional needs.
• Leadership experience, including managing and developing team members.
• Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
• Familiarity with high-end products and customer service-oriented businesses is highly desirable.
