VP Digital E-Commerce Job Description: The VP Digital E-Commerce leads the UKI digital and ecommerce agenda—owning strategy, execution, and performance across acquisition, conversion, and retention, while translating Sage’s long‑term vision into in‑year results. You’ll build and deliver the Go‑to‑Market plan (including Winning in Small), orchestrate cross‑functional execution across Product, Marketing, Sales, and E‑commerce, and champion connected customer journeys across web and mobile. You'll own performance and OKRs, drive platform innovation (CRO, personalization, search, speed), and use insight to pivot quickly to hit commercial goals. Reporting to the Interim Chief Growth Officer, you’ll develop high‑performing teams and rally the wider business behind a customer‑first, data‑led culture. Key Responsibilities: What You’ll Own (Key Responsibilities) • Lead the in‑year Go‑To‑Market (GTM) plan for Winning in Small (UK), shaping the commercial plan and OKRs in partnership with cross‑functional teams. • Translate long‑term strategy into action, ensuring the GTM plan aligns with the 3‑ and 1‑year strategic direction set by Product Marketing for key Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs). • Orchestrate end‑to‑end execution across Product, Marketing, Sales, E‑Commerce, and other teams to deliver a seamless, synchronized plan that achieves commercial outcomes. • Own performance measurement, managing a comprehensive dashboard that tracks OKRs and supporting metrics, and providing insight‑driven recommendations to optimize performance. • Map and optimize the full customer journey for priority ICPs, ensuring connected, high‑quality experiences across digital, mobile, and in‑product channels. • Identify opportunities to pivot, using data and customer insight to recommend adjustments that accelerate commercial success. • Champion cross‑company engagement, driving alignment and momentum for initiatives that sit outside traditional teams—including activating ~2,500 UK colleagues in support of the program.
