VP/Associate - Global Sustainable Finance Group - Asset Finance

The team is seeking to hire a Vice President / Associate in the GSFG: Asset Finance team who will be  supporting deal execution across multiple transactions and maintaining day-to-day dialogue with BofA clients looking for Asset Finance financing solutions

Role:

Support deal execution across multiple work streams to ensure seamless client experienceLead model preparation, financial analysis, client pitch book preparation, and credit / risk analysisLead the development of key materials for senior management discussionsAssist transaction lead and portfolio management team with ensuring that performance of previous capital investments are performing Support day-to-day dialogue with clients and support the development of new client relationships to establish new business opportunitiesKey skills include: general financial acumen, financial modelling, attention to detail, ability to effectively communicate with external clients and internal partners, and ability to articulate independent risk viewsLiaise with senior team members regarding team tactics and strategic focus – including, client, product and sector expansion ideasKey skills include: transaction execution / closing experience in LatAm, attention to detail, ability to effectively communicate with external clients and internal partners, and ability to articulate independent risk viewsThis position is based in NY but covering the Latin America and Caribbean region – travel will be required

Qualifications:

At least 3-5 years prior experience in structured finance, capital raising or investment bankingExtensive experience in financial modeling across the capital structureUnderstanding of corporate finance, tax, accounting and regulatory rulesUnderstanding of local regulation and market idiosyncrasies in Latin America and the CaribbeanExperience looking at project finance – specifically with renewable / clean energy projectsStrong verbal and written communication skillsStrong credit analysis and assessment capabilitiesConsistent attention to detailCandidate must have prior experience working in a collaborative team environmentSpanish and/or Portuguese speaker a plus
