Job Description:

The Practice Owner is responsible for the leadership, strategy and ongoing development of a Practice to continuously champion and orchestrate delivery of forward-looking solutions. They are accountable for the quality and performance of a dynamic group of Agile experts and inspire excellence in partner interactions on Platforms, Journeys, Agile Release Trains and Value Streams across the Enterprise.

As an innovative and recognized industry expert with exceptional people management skills, the Agile @ Scale Practice Owner builds and oversees a robust strategic framework and community of practice.  Attracts and develops an adept talent pool that will collaboratively act to provide proactive approaches to accelerate skill development in delivery excellence, release planning, backlog management, Agile practices and ceremonies, and continuous improvement and change, while ensuring speed to market by empowering the team to influence decisions. Oversees the Practice's ongoing evolution, aligning Practice Area Leads and People Leaders on how to create and sustain practice culture, collaborating to define the evolution of Journeys/ Platforms, and positioning the team to consistently lead on industry insights and solutions.

Partners with AVP Enterprise Delivery Standards to evolve the continuous improvement of Agile delivery aligned to agile metrics, delivery controls and portfolio management reportingPartner with AVP Enterprise Delivery Governance to ensure all required delivery controls are successfully met and adequately monitored throughout the delivery life cycle.  Partner on governance activities roadmapPartner with VP of Delivery Practice, VP Business Ops Management and VP Planning and Support to drive strategy and roadmap for Enterprise Portfolio Management and delivery financial management reporting

Preferred Skills:

15+ years of Delivery experience with large Financial Services organizationsCertified Scrum Master and/or Certified Scrum Master in scaled Agile framework (e.g., SAFE) and 15+ years of Scrum Master experienceTypically requires 15 years of Agile experienceExperience coaching in distributed Agile delivery environments15+ yrs. of related experience as an Agile coach involved in large-scale Agile transformationsExpert knowledge of Agile principles and practices, with extensive experience working in an Agile organizationAbility to influence at senior levels​

Education & Experience:
